Rafting on Dunajec River

The Dunajec River, which cuts through the Pieniny Mountains, flows in wide curves within a deep ravine whose rock walls are up to 300 metres high. This Extraordinary place is the best seen from raft. Raft trips start from the landing stage at Katy (Sromowce Wyzne). The 18 km route takes two to three hours depending on the water level. It is also possible to go further downriver to Kroscienko (23 km).

Rafting season lasts from 1 April till 31 October every day except for two church holidays: Corpus Christi and the first day of Easter.

There are two destination marinas:
1. Szczawnica – total route’s length: app. 18 km, the time of the rafting route: app. 2 hours 15 min.
2. Krościenko - total route’s length: app. 23 km, the time of the rafting route: app. 2 hours 45 min.

Our driver will pick you up from the hotel, apartment or any other place suitable for you straight to Pieniny. We will be waiting for you next to Pieniny as long as you wish. After seeing Pieniny our driver will take you back to Krakow, wherever you wish.
