Auschwitz-Birkenau Camps – 3:00h
First of all we will take you to AUSCHWITZ – BIRKENAU symbol of the Holocaust, now turned into a museum. There are 2 option for visit both camps: you can join the tour with licensed guide provide by museum or you can visit camp by yourself. Average time to visit both camps is 3 hours (2 hours in Auschwitz I and an hour in Auschwitz II Birkenau). Auschwitz complex was a biggest death camps of Nazis Germany during II World War established in the outskirts of the small town of Oswiecim.

Salt Mine in Wieliczka – 2 -2,5h
After visiting both camps Auschwitz-Birkenau we will take you to the second part of our trip SALT MINE in Wieliczka. You will see there one of the oldest mine in the world. The mine has more than 800 years. Everything underground is made of Salt. The Chapel of St.Kinga is one of the most beautiful and wonderful place underground. Depend on what time you finish visiting both camps we can start the tour in the Mine from 3:00 to 5:00pm. The tour has about 2,5 kilometers route and will takes about 2-2,5 hours. The first level of the mine is located 64 meters underground. There are about 378 wooden stairs but all going down (total is 800 stairs). Please note when you finish visit the mine the elevator will takes you up. Please take a comfortable shoes.

After visiting Salt Mine the driver will takes you back to Krakow. We will be there for a dinner time around 06:00-07:30pm (depend on the option).

Tour information
KrakowDiscovery arrange for you a private transfer to Auschwitz-Birkenau camps and to the Salt Mine in Wieliczka. Our English speaking drivers will pick you up directly from your apartment, hotel or any other place in Krakow. Recommended time to pick up is between 7:30 to 8:30am (pick up time to be confirm). The ride from Krakow to Auschwitz camp will takes about hour each way. There are two ways to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau camp. You can either choose fully guided tour in English or any different language (a tour ticket cost 85,00 zloty/18 euros per person) or you can visit the camps individually without the guide (free of charge). We will book for you a tickets in advance. The average time to visit both camps is about three hours. We recommend two hours visiting the first camp Auschwitz and about hour in the Birkenau. If you need to spent more time the driver will be waiting for you as long as you wish(first 30 minutes is free of charge). After visiting Auschwitz and Birkenau camps we will take you to the second part of the tours to the Salt Mine in Wieliczka. The tour in the mine should takes about 2-2.5 hours . English guided tours is every hour (you can`t visit mine without the guide it is impossible). The tour ticket cost 119 zloty/27 euros per person. If you need we will to stop somewhere before entering to the Salt Mine for quick sandwich or lunch. After visiting Salt Mine our driver will take you back to Krakow or wherever you wish.

Tour customization
- You can visit Auschwitz-Birkenau camps on your own (without the guide) but we have to take you from your hotel, apartments between 7:30 to 8:30am. Everyone entering the Auschwitz I site from 10:00am until 03:00pm. You can also visit camps without the guide for all day from 1st of November to 31th of March.
- You will join an guided tour to see Auschwitz-Birkenau camps provided by museum in different languages without pre-booking. The price is 85 zloty/18 euros per person.
- You can visit both Auschwitz-Birkenau camps with a private guide. This is an additional cost of 650 zloty/143 euros in the group (1-10 people). There are group up to 20 or 30 people booked in advance with us.
- Regular guided tour in the Salt Mine cost 119 zloty/27 euros in an additional fee (price included ticket and English guide or any available foreign language). We can book a private guide in advance.
- Our offer have option to go to the Salt Mine first and then to Auschwitz-Birkenau.
